Terms of Sales Agreement

1. For the health safety of my herd: once a goat leaves my farm it can not be returned. If you decide you no longer want your goats it is your responsibility to find them a new home.

2. There are no guarantees made by me as to the health or performance of the goats you purchase from me.  I will not knowingly sell a sick goat.  I take great pride in the health of my herd but after it leaves my place I do not have control over its health, care, or safety anymore, therefore I cannot be responsible for it anymore either.

3. A non-refundable payment is due to hold your goats until they are weaned and ready to go or a date agreed upon for older goats.  $100 deposit for does and bucks and $50 for wethers.

4. Once your goats are ready to go and you have been notified, you have 14 days to pick them up or a boarding fee of $2 a day will be added to the sales price. After 30 days the goats will be placed back up for sale and will be considered "abandoned" unless prior arangements have been made.

5. If you are shipping your goats, all expenses (health certificate, tests, crates, transportation fee, etc) is at your cost.  A delivery charge may also apply if using an airport other than the one in Huron.

6. I will not sell just one goat unless you already have a goat at home for a companion for your new goat. Goats do not do well on their own and need a companion. This is not a sales gimmick.

7. I reserve the right to retain a goat at anytime. If for any reason I decide to retain a goat you have already paid for you will have your choice on having your money returned or put it toward the purchase of a different goat.

8. Goats that are registerable will sell with the proper paperwork.  Wethers will not come with registration papers.  If for some reason a goat is considered "pet quality" it will sell at a reduced price and will not be considered registerable so therefore it will not come with registraton paperwork.

9. Please make yourself familiar with goats.  They are great animals but do require some care.  I love to answer questions but I also ask that you become a responsible goat owner and take the best care of them.  If you treat them right they will return the favor for years to come.

10. Balances dues at time of pickup are due in cash or certified check.  Balances due on a goat that requires shipment must be paid in advance with a certified check before I will ship it.

If you agree to these terms please sign and date below then return it to me along with down payment for the goats you have chosen.
